One of the great hiking tracks of the area passes right in front of the holiday house. Follow the idyllic mountain stream, the Obertalbach towards Giglachsee and sample the culinary delights of the many mountain huts along the way. The famous Austrian cuisine will offer you everything your heart desires. Another local highlight are the so called ‘wild waters’. An exceptional hiking track extends from Schladming deep into the Rohrmooser valley (2600m above sea level). Experience this unique, 14.5 kilometre long, breathtaking hiking track with your family and friends.
The region also offers plenty for the adventure seekers. Enjoy the many climbing walls and gardens. There is plenty on offer for the advanced as well as moderate climbs and walks for the whole family.
Go kyaking along the Enns or paraglyde from one of the many mountains. Rafting and canyontouring is also possible- either for individuals or bigger groups.
Since several years, Planai has not only been famous for it’s excellent ski slopes, but also for downhill mountainbiking racing. There are great downhill tracks as well as calmer bike routes to explore. To cool off on a hot summer day there are plenty of lakes to visit. Relax at the lakeside and soak in the unique mountain panorama of the region.
